2. Diploma Trainee

• Role : Diploma Trainees work in technical support roles and assist in the operation and maintenance of power plants. They handle routine inspections, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance tasks.
• Requirements : Diploma in relevant engineering disciplines, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Electronics.
• Training : Focused training on plant operations, safety protocols, and equipment handling.
• Career Path : Diploma Trainees can advance to supervisory roles and then progress to higher technical positions with experience.

3. Assistant Engineer / Assistant Chemist

• Role : Assistant Engineers are responsible for the day-to-day technical operations, including monitoring equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring efficient plant performance. Assistant Chemists work in chemical labs, handling water and fuel analysis, and ensuring chemical compliance.
• Requirements : For engineers, a B.Tech degree in a relevant field is required, while chemists need a Master’s degree in Chemistry.
• Skills Needed: : Technical knowledge, problem-solving, analytical skills, and familiarity with safety protocols.
• Training : Specialized training in their respective fields, including lab techniques and safety compliance for chemists.

4. Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Engineer

• Role : O&M Engineers handle the regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of plant machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient power generation.
• Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation) or a diploma with relevant experience.

5. Executive (Commercial)

• Role : Executives in Commercial roles handle contracts, revenue management, customer relations, and financial planning. They work closely with vendors, clients, and regulatory bodies.
• Requirements : MBA in Finance, Marketing, or other relevant fields.
• Skills Needed: : Negotiation, financial analysis, communication, and knowledge of regulatory policies.

6. HR Executive

• Role : HR Executives are responsible for managing recruitment, employee relations, training, payroll, and benefits administration. They also work on policy development and employee engagement initiatives.
• Requirements : MBA or Master’s in Human Resource Management or related field.
• Skills Needed: : Communication, conflict resolution, people management, and organizational skills.

7. Finance Executive

• Role : Finance Executives manage budgets, handle financial analysis, audit compliance, and monitor NTPC’s financial transactions.
• Requirements : CA, ICWA, or MBA in Finance.

8. Lab Technician / Assistant Chemist
